Every SexyLofts property starts with a building that has a story. Ours are landmark towers and former office buildings across Metro Detroit: buildings with real history that others passed over.

We keep what makes these buildings special: their height, their scale and their presence on the street. Then we rebuild the inside for the way people live now.

We manage construction ourselves, with our own project managers on site. There is no outside general contractor between us and the work, so one team owns the result from the first day of demolition to the final walkthrough.

We also plan to own these buildings for the long run, and that changes how you build. Materials and systems are chosen to hold up for decades, because we will still be here to answer for them.

Every SexyLofts building is designed to be amenity rich. Across the industry, amenity and common areas take up about 10% of a typical apartment property. In ours, it is closer to 22%.

That space goes to the places residents use every day: rooms to work out, to work, to unwind and to host. Your loft is your home, and the building around it is part of it too.

Leasing, maintenance and day-to-day management are handled by Blackacre's own team. When something needs attention, your request goes to the same company that built the building.

We hold ourselves to a simple standard: every resident is treated with respect, and every building should feel warm and welcoming.
